Digital debt book: snap your paper book and it sorts itself out
Your debt book has your money in it. Instead of flipping pages and adding up on a calculator, snap a page of the book with your phone and Dukkani reads the names and amounts and gives you a tidy table. Check it, then post it to customer balances with one tap.

📷 Try it on your real book — no account needed
Snap one page of your debt book and see right away who owes how much and the page total. One time, no sign-up.
🔒 The photo goes to an external AI reader that only reads it; we don't store it (the provider deletes it after a short time under its policy). Check the names and amounts before you save. How does it work?
- Snap a page of your paper debt book.
- Dukkani reads the names and amounts and puts them in a table (you can edit any line before saving).
- Post the table to customer balances: each customer gets a balance and a history.
- After that, any sale "on credit" from the cashier goes straight onto their balance.
Example: from the book page to customer balances
A made-up example with fake names and numbers — the same steps you go through in the app.
① Snap the page
② Check the table and fix mistakes
| Abu Fahad | 45 |
| Saad | 120 |
| Umm Khalid The number isn't clear in the photo: 7 or 70? | 7 ← 70 |
| Nasser | 30 |
③ Post it ← each customer with their balance
| Saad | 120 SAR |
| Umm Khalid | 70 SAR |
| Abu Fahad | 45 SAR |
| Nasser | 30 SAR |
| Owed to you | 265 SAR |
What do you get?
- You know exactly how much people owe you, and whose debt is the oldest.
- A statement for each customer, sent on WhatsApp as a link they open themselves.
- A payment-day reminder (salary day) for each customer.
- No debt gets lost if the book goes missing or gets wet: everything is saved.
A tip before posting
- Reading from the photo is quick, but handwriting varies: check the names and amounts in the table before you post them.
- Start with the newest page, then the older ones.
FAQ
Does it read handwriting?
It reads handwritten names and numbers on most clear pages, and the table shows up before saving so you can fix any mistake.
Can the customer see their balance?
Yes. You send them a statement on WhatsApp with a link that opens their balance and history, no app needed.
How much does Dukkani cost?
Free, no time limit, no card. The monthly subscription is optional, for shops that sell a lot: it removes the monthly limit on sales and new debts and unlocks the link with ZATCA (Fatoora — phase two), with no commitment.
Do I need a cashier machine or a computer?
No. Dukkani works on your phone or any device with a browser, and you can add it to your home screen like an app. If you have a computer and printer, it works on those too.
Does it work if the internet cuts out?
You can keep selling when the internet drops; sales are saved on the phone and sent by themselves once you're back online.
